Rochester 4, Pawtucket 0

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 8, Reading 0: Miguel Felix and two relievers combined on a three-hitter, as the Baysox beat the host Phillies to avoid a three-game sweep.

Felix (2-0) went the first seven innings, allowing three hits. He struck out three. Derek Brown and Jorge Julio each followed with a hitless inning.

Carlos Silva (1-2) took the loss, allowing 12 hits and six runs, five earned.

Tom McGee hit a bases-empty homer, his first of the season, in the fourth inning. Papy Ndungidi hit a three-run shot, his first, in the fifth, to give the Baysox a 7-0 lead.

Brian Roberts and Darnell McDonald each had three hits for the Baysox.

Single-A Carolina League

Lynchburg 6, Frederick 4: Jeremy Sickles went 3-for-4 with a home run, helping the Hillcats brush off five errors in a win over the host Keys.

Doug Gredvig hit two bases-empty home runs for Frederick (6-9), but the Keys stranded 10 men, failing to score despite loading the bases in the sixth and eighth innings.

D. J. Carrasco (2-0) allowed one run in two innings of relief to earn the win for the Hillcats (6-9). Tony Pavlovich recorded the final five outs to earn his second save.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 5, Kannapolis 3

Hagerstown 6, Lakewood 4: Designated hitter Dan Trumble had a home run and three RBIs, and Jeff Clark pitched six shutout innings to lead the host Suns past the Blueclaws.

Clark (4-0) gave up just five hits and struck out four while walking none for the Suns. Jackson Markert shut down the Blueclaws in the ninth inning to earn his fifth save.

Juan Richardson led the Blueclaws at the plate, hitting a home run and driving in three runs. Catcher Carlos Ruiz also had a bases-empty homer.

Ryan Carter (0-3) took the loss for Lakewood, giving up five runs on four hits over 6 1/3 innings.
