Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Carjacking: Two gunmen forced their way into a white 1997 Ford Taurus about 11:30 p.m. Saturday while the driver, a 40-year-old man, was stopped at a traffic signal in the 1600 block of Bloomingdale Road at Baker Street and ordered him to drive away after robbing him of $2. A few blocks away on North Hilton Street, the victim stopped the car and fled on foot. One of the carjackers got behind the steering wheel and drove off. The car, with tags HHD 429, and the gunmen were being sought.

Southeastern District

Stolen car/arrest: A 1991 Chrysler New Yorker reported stolen overnight Friday in the 6100 block of Holabird Ave. was spotted Saturday night in the O'Donnell Heights section of Southeast Baltimore by police. After the vehicle stopped, a teen-age driver tried to flee on foot but was caught. The youth was charged as a juvenile with auto theft and processed at Northern District's juvenile detention center.

Western District

Shooting: A man, 19, was in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road about 3 a.m. Saturday when an unknown assailant fired several shots, hitting him at least once in the right shoulder. The victim flagged down a police officer several blocks from the shooting scene and was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrest had been made and the victim was in good condition.

Burglary: A water heater and furnace -- all valued at more than $300 -- were removed from a house under renovation in the 1000 block of W. Fayette St. between April14 and Friday.

Stolen vehicle: A 1999 Infiniti Q-45 with New York tags AGE 3019 was stolen Friday from the parking lot of Coppin State College in the 2500 block of W. North Ave.

Southern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Lincoln Town Car with tags HGT 468 was stolen Saturday in the 1300 block of N. Carey St.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Assault: Two men were fighting outside Seaside Cafe in the 1800 block of Bowleys Quarters Road about 12:20 a.m. Saturday when one struck the other over the head with a beer bottle. The victim, 25, was taken to Franklin Square Hospital Center. The assailant, 26, was being sought.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A 5 horsepower lawn tiller valued at more than $260 was stolen from a shed in the first block of Apple Valley Court between April 14 and Saturday.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Cash and coins -- of unknown value -- were stolen Saturday from an apartment in the 9200 block of Snyder Lane by someone who entered through a rear basement window.
