Kenwood's Evans no-hits Lansdowne

April 22, 2001

Aside from four walks, Kenwood senior pitcher Randy Evans (2-1) was nearly perfect yesterday as the visiting Bluebirds (6-3) edged Lansdowne, 3-2.

Evans no-hit the Vikings, striking out 15 of the 21 batters he faced. He allowed only one ball to get out of the infield.

Kenwood designated hitter Joe Costello drove in the game-winning run on a single in the fourth.
