Audubon Society of Central Maryland plans its annual Native Plant Sale for Saturday

The Audubon Society of Central Maryland will hold its annual Native Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary near Mount Airy.

Native trees, shrubs and perennials will be available. The plants can adapt to different sunlight, soil and water conditions.

Carroll County master gardeners will answer questions and offer tips on planting and care.

The sanctuary's stream, pond and wetland area will be open for visits.

The sanctuary is in the 12900 block of Old Annapolis Road. Information: 410-833-5155.
