Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Carjacking: A man, 63, was about to drive from a liquor store in the 3700 block of W. Belvedere Ave. about 1:15 a.m. Sunday when a gunman ordered him out of his 1985 Lincoln and drove off with it. The car has temporary tags 13164V

Carjacking: Two men, one with a handgun, forced their way into a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier about 2 a.m. Sunday when the driver, 42, stopped at a traffic light in the 5100 block of Park Heights Ave. They ordered the driver to sit in the back. The victim said he was driven to an unknown location in Baltimore County and forced out of the car near the Baltimore Beltway. He reported the incident to state police, who turned the case over to district police. He was not injured. The car has tags ETH 588.

Bank robbery: A man approached a teller at Provident Bank in Reisterstown Road Plaza about 3:15 p.m. yesterday, showed her a handgun and demanded money from her cash drawer. She gave him an undisclosed sum and he ran. Special Agent Peter A. Gulotta Jr., spokesman for the Baltimore FBI, said the gunman wore a blue jacket and blue baseball cap.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A man, 21, was in the 2600 block of Wilkens Ave. about 4 a.m. Sunday when a gunman got out of a gray Chevrolet Cavalier, robbed him of $30 and drove off.

Northern District

Theft: After offering to help a woman change a flat tire in the 4700 block of York Road on Sunday, a man stole her wallet from inside the car.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Cutting/arrest: A woman, 39, was trying to reclaim her son's bicycle from a man near her home in the 200 block of St. Helena Ave. about 2:30 p.m. Sunday and he cut her on the right hand with a small knife, police said. Brent Dayton Case, 33, also a resident of the block, was charged with first-degree assault. The woman refused medical treatment for a minor wound.

Parkville Precinct

Theft: An AM-FM compact disc player and speakers - all valued at more than $1,000 - were stolen Sunday from a car parked in the 4100 block of E. Joppa Road.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 19, was buying Easter flowers about 1 p.m. Sunday at a stand at Franklin Boulevard and Owings Court in Reisterstown when a man stole her purse and drove off in her 1996 Chevrolet Corsica with tags HAJ 449.

Assault: A boy, 17, was knocking on the door of a room at Ameri-Suites Motel in the 4700 block of Painters Mill Road about 1 a.m. Sunday when a man approached him from behind and struck his head with a handgun, rendering him unconscious. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center and released. No arrest had been made and police knew of no motive for the attack.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry, several compact discs, and a videocassette recorder - all valued at more than $1,000 - were stolen Sunday from a house in the 400 block of Mace Ave.
