Crosswalk to Concourse A is closed for construction
The first pedestrian crosswalk from the BWI parking garage to the lower level of Concourse A has been closed for construction of support columns for two additional lanes to the upper-level roadway in front of the terminal.
Additional work is under way to add utilities and retaining walls that are necessary as the lower-level roadway is expanded.
All other crosswalks and the terminal roadway will remain open. Most construction will take place between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Construction and parking updates: 800-I-FLY-BWI, or log onto the airport's Web site, www.bwiairport.com.
