Salute to coach of Ravens to raise funds for housing

Homebuilder Stephen H. Costello, president of Forty West Builders, is heading a salute to Ravens defensive coach Marvin Lewis at a fund-raiser for a nonprofit housing developer, Southwest Visions.

Costello, president of the board of directors of Southwest Visions, is an Ellicott City homebuilder. Southwest Visions, founded in 1983 by the Sisters of Mercy and neighborhood residents, acquires and renovates vacant and deteriorating houses in Southwest Baltimore. The group has named the defensive coach the recipient of its first Vision Award. The award will be presented at the Marvin Lewis Testimonial Dinner and Sports Auction on May 10 at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore.

Southwest Visions seeks sponsors for the tribute to Lewis and items for the auction. Tickets are $50.

HR Team lands contract with accounting firm

Eileen Levitt, president and founder of the HR Team, has announced the company's contract with Peacock, Condron, Anderson & Co., a Columbia accounting firm. The HR Team will provide on-site human resources support and services.


EBO awards: Equal Business Opportunity Committee of the Howard County Economic Development Authority and its partners in economic development will hold their awards program from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. April 24 in Ten Oaks Ballroom, 5000 Signal Bell Lane, Clarksville.
