Bob Rinehimer scored four goals and Greg Bardzik contributed three to lead Villa Julie (8-3) over visiting Wesley (6-6), 14-8, yesterday in men's lacrosse.

The Mustangs jumped out to a 6-1 lead after the first quarter and extended the advantage to 9-2 at the half. After trailing 11-3, Wesley outscored Villa Julie 5-3 in the fourth quarter.

Women

Loyola 16, American 9: Stacey Morlang scored four goals and had one assist as the Greyhounds (11-1, 6-0) defeated the host Eagles (5-7, 1-5) to remain unbeaten in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Loyola took an early, 3-2 lead, but then scored six straight goals to end the first half with an 11-4 advantage. Megan Santacroce and Lauren Peck each added three goals and an assist for Loyola.

Boston University 21, Towson 6: Chrissy Lombard scored four of her game-high six goals in the first half as the visiting Terriers (7-4, 3-0) ended a two-game losing streak in defeating the Tigers (5-6, 1-3) in America East play.

Towson cut the deficit to 7-2 with 8:03 to go after goals byMelissa Garner and AmyMiddleton before Boston went on a 4-0 run to end the half and take an 11-2 halftime advantage.

Garner led the Tigers with two goals.

Western Maryland 19, College of Notre Dame 9: Erin Mulhern scored six goals and had five assists to lead the Green Terror (4-6) past the visiting Gators in a nonconference matchup.
