Easter extravaganza at Inner Harbor

Hop down to the Inner Harbor with the Easter bunny as Baltimore celebrates spring on Easter Sunday. Folk music by Alborada, jazz by the Greg Thompkin Group and street performers will entertain crowds throughout the day at the Harborplace Amphitheatre. Alborada will perform from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the Greg Thompkin Group will play from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Easter bunny will bounce through Harborplace and the Gallery from noon to 4 p.m.

The celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free admission. Call 888-BALTIMORE.

Strut your stuff in talent competition

Showcase your skills or watch youthful up-and-comers (ages 7 to 21) perform at "Uplifting Minds II," a talent competition taking place Saturday at Security Square Mall. Entrants will compete in four categories: music, art, fashion and literature. Judges include Mathew Knowles, manager of Destiny's Child, Jazz from Dru Hill, local sculptor Lawrence Hurst and model-school owner Travis Winkey. At the conclusion of the competition, stick around for a concert featuring local musicians.

The talent show takes place 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Security Square Mall is at 6901 Security Blvd., Woodlawn. Free admission. Call 410-265-6000.
