Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc changer and tollbooth passes - all valued at $200 - were stolen Saturday from a 1993 Nissan Sentra parked in the first block of E. 32nd St.

Theft: A coat and 200 compact discs - all valued at $2,500 - were stolen from a 1992 Volkswagen station wagon parked Saturday in the 2200 block of N. Lovegrove St.

Theft: A laptop computer and carrying bag, a computer mouse, a pager and a planner - all valued at $3,000 - were stolen Saturday from a Buick parked in the 5000 block of Blythewood Road.

Theft from vehicle: A set of jumper cables, driving glasses and a backpack containing a bicycle helmet and clothing - all valued at more than $400 - were stolen Saturday from a 1993 Toyota Camry parked in the 2300 block of Sulgrave Ave.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Someone entered Rent-Rite in the 6800 block of Reisterstown Road overnight Friday and stole a camcorder valued at $341.

Southern District

Burglary: A coat valued at $100 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 1100 block of Ward St.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Arson: Someone threw a Molotov cocktail onto a 1995 Ford Probe parked Saturday in the 2100 block of Townhill Road. Damage was estimated at $500.

Burglary: A cellular phone, cash and credit cards - all valued at $300 - were stolen Friday from an apartment in the first block of Somerville Court.

Garrison Precinct

Malicious burning: A Molotov cocktail was thrown Saturday night onto the parking lot of Renal Treatment Center at McDonogh Crossroads in the first block of Crossroads Drive. No damage was reported. Police were investigating whether the incident and the one in Parkville are linked.

Robbery: A woman, 50, was about to enter her car parked in the 3700 block of Old Court Road about 11:40 p.m. Friday when a man knocked her to the ground and stole her purse containing cash, checkbooks and an ATM card - all valued at more than $100.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was removed overnight Thursday from a safe at Genova Pizza in the 1700 block of Joan Ave.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Flanders Ridge Court between Wednesday and Saturday and poured paint onto carpets, causing $7,000 damage. A television valued at $300 was taken.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: A Northeast Baltimore girl, 13, was arrested Saturday when she attempted to leave the J.C. Penney in Eastpoint Mall without paying for shirts valued at more than $150.

Theft/arrest: A girl, 13, was arrested Saturday when she tried to leave the Wal-Mart store in the 2300 block of North Point Blvd. without paying for cosmetics and face decals - all valued at nearly $20.
