Sandra Leith Merson, 51, homemaker

Sandra Leith Merson, a homemaker, died Saturday of cancer at Winchester Medical Center in Virginia. She was 51 and had lived in Highlandtown before moving to Berkeley Springs, W. Va., in 1985.

She was an administrative aide at Alex Karas Rolls Royce and Photography on Belair Road.

Born Sandra Leith Shock in Rising Sun, she graduated in 1972 from Patapsco High School.

In 1975, she married William Henry Merson, who survives her.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home in Berkeley Springs.

She is survived by four daughters, Amelia Merson, Kristie Merson, Jessica Merson and Sunday Merson, all of Berkeley Springs; a brother, Gregory Shock of Baltimore; three sisters, Terry Lynn Stump and Stephanie Krawczyk, both of Berkeley Springs, and Irene Schmid of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two grandsons.
