Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Drug arrests: Police from the Western, Southwestern and Northeastern districts posed as drug dealers Monday in the 2100 block of W. Lexington St. and arrested 23 people who tried to buy narcotics. Officers seized seven vehicles, a quantity of crack cocaine and more than $300. Those arrested were charged with attempting to purchase narcotics or possession of crack cocaine.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A male, 16, was in the 1300 block of W. North Ave. about 6:30 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $85 and a cellular phone valued at $100.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 44, of a pocket organizer, pager and wallet about 9:30 p.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Oakhurst Ave. The wallet contained cash, credit cards and an automated teller machine card.

Robbery: An older male threatened a boy, 15, and robbed him of his 26-inch mountain bicycle, valued at $120, about 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Brunswick St.

Burglary: Power tools and a custom-made mailbox - all valued at more than $1,200 - were stolen Saturday from a house being renovated in the 3000 block of Lohrs Lane.

Southern District

Burglary: A laptop computer and two telephones - all valued at more than $2,500 - were stolen March 29 from a dwelling in the 1200 block of Harbor Island Walk. The burglary was reported Monday.

Burglary: Cigarettes valued at more than $2,700 were stolen overnight Sunday from Hanna's grocery store in the 1500 block of Ramsay St.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Toys, video games, clothing and a microwave oven - all valued at $1,700 - were stolen from an apartment in the 1700 block of E. Baltimore St. overnight Sunday.

Stolen vehicle: A Jeep Grand Cherokee with tags 980940M was stolen overnight Sunday in the 500 block of N. Potomac St.

Northwestern District

Burglary: A cellular phone, DVD player and videocassette recorder - all valued at $450 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 4500 block of Fairfax Road.

Burglary: Someone used keys to enter a house in the 2900 block of Garrison Blvd. on Monday and steal two televisions and a telephone - all valued at more than $500.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A black 2001 Saab convertible valued at more than $39,000 was stolen between Saturday and Monday from Hunt Valley Saab in the 11200 block of York Road. A key with a computer chip was stolen from the dealership's office and used to start the car.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Clothing valued at nearly $12,000 was stolen between March 30 and Monday from Tom James Clothing Co. in the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road. No signs of forced entry were found.

Burglary: A mitre saw and lawn-care equipment - all valued at nearly $400 - were stolen between Saturday and Monday from a shed in the 14200 block of Hanover Pike in Reisterstown.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A Yamaha dirt bike valued at $3,800 was stolen overnight Saturday from a storage locker at Devon Storage in the 8100 block of Pulaski Highway.

Burglary: Aluminum valued at more than $10,000 was stolen between March 30 and Monday from U.S. Can Corp. in the 8900 block of Yellow Brick Road.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrests: Two women were arrested Monday when they attempted to leave the Sears store at Eastpoint Mall without paying for jewelry and cologne - all valued at more than $300. Each was charged with theft.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A concrete saw and an air hose were stolen overnight Sunday from Art Works Custom Sheds in the 3700 block of Eastern Blvd. by someone who entered through a door.
