Old Trinity Cemetery spring cleanup is scheduled for Saturday morning

Friends of Old Trinity Cemetery in Eldersburg will hold its annual spring cleanup from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, rain or shine.

Members are asked to bring rakes, hoes and hedge clippers to clear brush and wood and prepare the ground for spring.

Refreshments will be served.

People who wish to join the group are welcome.

The cemetery is off Liberty Road west of Route 32, via the driveway by Great Breath Dental Center, 1137 Liberty Road.

Pupils to present projects on farm crops and animals

Fifth-grade language arts extended enrichment pupils at Carrolltowne Elementary School will present their projects on animals and crops of the farm today and tomorrow for grades three through five.

The language arts pupils will lead schoolmates on a walk to learn about farm life.

The Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation's Ag Lab will visit the school April 9-19.

Pupils will visit the lab at least once, with fifth-graders getting more time.

Pupils in upper grades will conduct experiments in the lab.

The lab visit is paid for by the school PTA and a grant from the Maryland Fair Board.

Easter events, talent show set at Carrolltown Center

Carrolltown Center has announced events for this month.

An Easter EGGstravaganza will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Photos with the Easter Bunny will be taken from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and April 14.

A Crazy Bone Tournament, sponsored by Dugout Zone, will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. .

A Talent Express Talent Show will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Carrolltown Kids' Club for ages 3 to 5 will meet at 10 a.m. April 10 in center court.
