Retreat to examine role of spirituality in corporate world

Bon Secours Spiritual Center, an extension of the ministry of the sisters of Bon Secours, will begin a dialogue with business leaders during a six-day retreat, "Spirituality in the Marketplace: A Retreat for CEOs and Spiritual Directors," May 6-12 at the Marriottsville center.

The retreat will focus on the growing demand for spiritual direction in corporate America. It will be led by Walter T. Davis Jr., director of Advanced Pastoral Studies at San Francisco Theological Seminary, and Jack Mostyn of the order of Christian Brothers and a founder of Spiritual Directors International.

The cost is $500, including room and board.

Entrepreneur's group to meet Wednesday

Speaker and trainer Joel A. Freeman will discuss "Dealing with People Who Drive You Crazy" at a meeting of the Entrepreneur's Exchange from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Northwoods Fine Cuisine in west Annapolis.

Freeman is president of the Freeman Institute.

Workshop Friday to focus on franchising
