Robert J. Lawless, chairman, exercised an option for 4,291 shares of Class NON VT common at $22.38 each Feb. 7. To cover expenses, he turned in 2,564. He also exercised an option for 12,876 shares of Class VTG common at $22.38 each Feb. 7. To cover expenses, he turned in 7,698 and now holds 60,261.

Mid Atlantic Medical Svs

Robert E. Foss, chief financial officer, exercised an option for 36,000 shares of common at $16 each from March 6 to March 8 and sold 36,000 shares for $19.22 to $19.50 each from March 6 to March 8, and now holds 400 shares of common.

Joseph M. Truta, vice president, exercised an option for 11,249 shares of common at $8.93 each Feb. 22. To cover transaction expenses, Truta turned in 11,249 of them and now holds 12,775.

Procter & Gamble Co.

James J. Johnson, officer, exercised an option for 14,000 shares of common at $20.94 each Feb. 7. To cover transaction expenses, Johnson turned in 7,295 of them and now holds 130,254.

R. K. Clark, divisional officer, sold 2,000 shares of common at $76.80 each Feb. 21 and now holds 44,731.

Ryland Group Inc.

Norman J. Metcalfe, director, purchased 2,000 shares of common at $41.25 each March 5 and now holds 11,999.
