An article on Page 1A yesterday about Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley's budget proposal misidentified the agency within the Department of Public Works that could lose as many as 300 workers to layoffs. The Bureau of Solid Waste and Bureau of General Services would bear the brunt of layoffs, not the Bureau of Transportation.

An article in yesterday's Maryland section about the killing of an Anneslie dry-cleaning attendant incorrectly attributed information about money having been taken from the business. That detail came from the owner, not Baltimore County police, though police do consider robbery one of several possible motives in the murder.

An article in yesterday's Today section gave an incorrect location for St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, which is in Jacksonville, Baltimore County.

The Sun regrets the errors.
