Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Drug arrest: Detective Ray Yost of the district's drug enforcement unit was in the 100 block of N. Smallwood St. on Tuesday when he saw a man on a bicycle allegedly selling drugs. When he and other officers approached, the man dropped the bicycle and fled to the 2200 block of W. Lexington St., where he was arrested. Officers seized 19 plastic bags of crack cocaine and $44. Keith Owen, 40, of the 2200 block of W. Lexington St. was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Drug arrest: Drug enforcement unit officers observed a man allegedly selling plastic baggies of heroin Tuesday in the 2700 block of Edmondson Ave. Anthony Robinson, 42, of the 2500 block of W. Fayette St. was arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute.

Northwestern District

Burglary/arrest: Responding to an alarm Monday at the Sportsmen's Lounge in the 4700 block of Gwynn Oak Ave., Officers Theo Fleet and Brian Ford entered the building and arrested a man hiding in a rear room who had broken in through the kitchen. Stacked near a window were a television and a videocassette recorder. The man's identity was not available.

Northern District

Robbery try/arrest: Officer Anthony Fata was at Greenmount Avenue and East 25th Street about 7 p.m. Tuesday when he saw a man allegedly attempting to rob another man in the 400 block of E. 25th St. Leverne Sykes, 37, of the 1700 block of Burnwood Road was arrested and charged him with attempted robbery.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A video camera, clothing and 11,000 Japanese yen - worth $122 - were stolen Tuesday from a rented 2000 Plymouth van parked in the 600 block of Portland St.

Eastern District

Burglary: At least $400 was stolen from the Eastside Social Club in the 1200 block of N. Collington Ave. overnight Monday.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 7300 block of Campfield Road on Tuesday and stole a firearms locker containing a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, a .357 Magnum revolver, a .45-caliber handgun, a .380-caliber handgun and several rounds of ammunition.
