Two more people have stepped forward, saying they were sexually abused by the owner of an Essex martial arts school who faces similar allegations in three other cases.

Orlando Yarborough, 55, was charged Tuesday with two counts of child abuse, two counts of perverted sexual practice and two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, Baltimore County police said.

A 13-year-old boy told police he was sexually abused by Yarborough two years ago in Essex. A 40-year-old man said he was sexually assaulted by Yarborough in 1976,when he was a teen-ager, police said.

Yarborough, a resident of the 1300 block of Sugarwood Circle, surrendered to police at the Essex Precinct on Tuesday. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Yarborough had been out on bail since last month, when he was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting two juveniles nearly 20 years ago.

They came forward after learning that Yarborough had been arrested Feb. 16 and charged with sexually assaulting one of his 15-year-old students that month.

"They were afraid to tell anybody," said Cpl. Vickie Warehime, a police spokeswoman. "Some of the victims were in fear of Orlando Yarborough, and some of the victims were in fear of embarrassment."

Yarborough has been charged with 18 offenses in the five incidents. Warehime, noting that there is no statute of limitations on prosecuting sex offenses, said police are searching for anyone else who might have been a victim.
