Antonio Regis Lake Clifton, basketball

The 5-foot-6 point guard sparkled in the Baltimore City-County All-Star game, registering a game-high 22 points and six assists to propel the City squad to a 91-89 victory. For his efforts, Regis was named Most Valuable Player for his team. Regis, a senior who was selected to the All-Baltimore City/County second team, averaged 16.7 points, seven assists, and four steals a game for the Lakers. Coach Herman Harried called Regis a "catalyst" for the team's run to a 20-5 record, a Class 4A North Region crown, and a No. 2 ranking in the metro area.

Rachel Clinton Oakland Mills, indoor track

Clinton closed out her senior indoor season with her finest peformance. Competing in the 60-meter hurdles at the New Balance Track and Field Indoor Championships at the 168th Street Armory in New York City, Clinton finished in 8.85 seconds, good enough for sixth place and All-America recognition. Clinton was the eighth and final qualifier in the event, running 9.0 in the semfinals. She qualified ninth out of 14 in the preliminaries. Clinton won the Class 2A-1A state title in the 55 hurdles in 8.5 seconds.
