Rock hyrax eat various plants including grass.

Rock hyrax are small, furry animals with short feet and poor body temperature. Yet they are related to elephants! Fossils show many similar features between the elephant and the hyrax and scientists have classified them both as ungulates (animals with hooves of various types). They are found in the southeast an northeast parts of Africa.
