BOY SCOUT TROOP 320 of Manchester will sponsor its second annual golf tournament, a fund-raiser for camping expeditions, May 10 at Oakmont Green Golf Club in Hampstead.

Last year's tournament was a success, and the Scouts are seeking support from community businesses to provide perks and prizes for the event.

Businesses and organizations that donate merchandise will be recognized in a publication and will be acknowledged during the tournament.

Proceeds from last year's golf tournament helped send about 12 Scouts to a high-adventure camp in Florida.

Scouts must qualify to attend the adventure camp, and local Scouts could qualify for camp in 2002.

Businesses wishing to contribute should call David Weihs, 410-239-2425.

The ride includes rolling hills and light motor traffic.

The event includes healthful snacks and beverages after the ride.

Commemorative T-shirts cost $12.

Registration before April 1 is $10 per rider older than age 16. Children ride free.
