Review: Do the words healthy and ice cream really belong on the same product label? I'm not sure. These new "premium" ice creams from Healthy Choice aren't bad. The low-fat flavors are creative. But they can't quite live up to what you imagine they'll taste like. The Turtle Fudge Cake had sort of a washed-out chocolate flavor. The Banana Split was a bit more interesting. Different, anyway. But there's a reason we don't see an overabundance of banana-flavored ice creams in the freezer case. In the end, I'd be more satisfied eating a smaller portion of really good ice cream than a larger portion of this low-fat "treat."
