Scholarly views

There are food magazines for the health-conscious, for gourmands and for cooking novices. Now there's a magazine for food scholars. Gastronomica: The Journal of Food and Culture discusses the history and cultural impact of food through essays, poetry, cartoons and photography. The quarterly magazine's cover price is $10.
