Today's games

No. 6 Notre Dame (4-0) at No. 5 Loyola (3-0)

Site: Curley Field

Time: Noon

TV/Radio: Ch. 2/WNST (1570 AM)

Outlook: The Irish are coming off an 11-8 victory over Virginia and are enjoying their highest ranking ever in the STX/USILA coaches poll. Notre Dame is led by former Boys' Latin standouts Tom Glatzel and David Ulrich. This is a big game for Loyola, which will be out to avenge a 15-13 loss to the Irish in the opening round of the NCAA tournament last May. The Greyhounds have a chance to add to their record in rapid fashion at home, as they play seven straight games at Curley Field and do not go on the road again until April 28 at Hobart. Loyola is led by surprising sophomore Chris Summers (eight goals, seven assists) and Gavin Prout, who has scored at least three goals in all three games.

Mount St. Mary's (1-2) at Wagner (0-1)

Site: Wagner College Athletics Field, Staten Island, N.Y.

Time: 2 p.m.

Outlook: The Mount will be looking to put back-to-back victories together in this Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game. The Emmitsburg school pounded Providence, 16-4, last week behind four goals and two assists from senior Nick DeFelice (Towson High) and four goals by sophomore Josh Warfield (Fallston High).
