A Mount Airy man was arrested on drug-related charges after police said they found cocaine and drug paraphernalia in his home.

Shawn Thomas Hibble, 21, of the 100 block of North Towne Court was arrested Thursday night and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Acting on a tip from a confidential source, the Carroll County Drug Task Force obtained a warrant to search Hibble's home, police said. The task force reported finding 14 grams of powdered cocaine, plastic bags containing cocaine residue, a small amount of marijuana, a digital scale and $1,241 cash during a search.

Hibble was being held Friday in the Carroll County Detention Center in Westminster on $50,000 bond.
