City street closings set for St. Patrick's parade

The Baltimore Department of Public Works has announced street closings for the St. Patrick's Day parade, which begins at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Charles and Centre streets and will last about three hours. Marchers will proceed south on Charles to Pratt Street and east on Pratt to Market Place, where the parade will disband.

Street closings include: Charles Street from Conway Street to Madison Street, beginning at 1:30 p.m.; Pratt Street from Howard Street to President Street, beginning at 1:45 p.m.; South Street at Lombard, open to local traffic only beginning at 1:45 p.m.

Also tomorrow, the O'Doul's Shamrock 5K Run will begin at 1:45 p.m. at Charles and Franklin streets.
