A 61-year-old West Baltimore man who apparently suffered a medical emergency while driving died in Howard County yesterday after the van he was operating crashed, Howard County police spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn said.
Jerry Timmons of the 1000 block W. Franklin St. was driving a white Chevrolet business van in the 6300 block Macaw Court in Harwood Industrial Park in Elkridge about 6:22 a.m. when the van hit a parked vehicle and pushed it into a building. Timmons was taken to Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, where he died, Llewellyn said.
