Pedestrian is killed on Interstate 95

Maryland State Police reported that a pedestrian was killed on I-95 in northeast Baltimore County late last night.

Sgt. Ernest Wilkens said that one vehicle was involved in the incident, which occurred about 10:15 p.m. near the New Forge Road overpass, north of White Marsh.

Police could provide no identification or age of the male victim, nor of the driver of the vehicle. The accident closed two of the highway's northbound lanes.
