Senior attackman Jason Lavey scored twice and handed out five assists to lead visiting Delaware to a 13-7 victory over Mount St. Mary's yesterday in the Mountaineers' opener.
Delaware (1-1) led 13-5 before the Mount scored twice in the final two minutes.
Salisbury State 9, St. Mary's 8, OT: Senior midfielder Rob Bookhamer scored unassisted 1:45 into overtime to lift the Sea Gulls (2-0) over the Seahawks (1-1), extending Salisbury's all-time record against Capital Athletic Conference opponents to 32-0. St. Mary's senior attackman Steve Valladingham scored six goals, the last with 1:22 left in regulation to force overtime.
