Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Weapon arrest: Officers Eric Green, Chris Malecki and Jeff Young were working an undercover detail in the 100 block of N. Schroeder St. about 7 p.m. Tuesday when they heard a man standing nearby threaten to shoot the occupants of a car. After the car sped off, the officers approached the man, who fled but was caught in an alley. The officers recovered a 9 mm handgun the man was seen discarding. Tremayne Lonon, 20, of the 3900 block of Chesterfield Ave., was charged with illegal possession of a handgun.

Shooting: A male, 17, was in the 1600 block of N. Mount St. about 8 p.m. Tuesday when a passenger in a sport utility vehicle shot him in the lower back. The victim was in good condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southwestern District

Officer assaulted/drug arrests: Police raided a house Saturday in the 1900 block of N. Rosedale St., arrested three men and seized $1,000 and heroin valued at more than $500. Moments before the raid, Detective Peter Sullivan was struck by a car near the targeted residence. The driver, Harrison Butler, 41, of the 900 block of W. Franklin St., was charged with assaulting a police officer and possession of heroin with intent to distribute. Also charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute were Lonnie Cooper, 32, of the raided house; Ronald Weaver, 32, of the 700 block of Cator Ave.; and Lashawn Stewart, 33, of the 2900 block of Edgecombe Circle North.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Shooting: A male resident of the 100 block of Sunmar Court was shot in the left shoulder about 8 a.m. Tuesday after answering a knock at his door. A gunman sped off in a Ford Taurus with unknown tags. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital, and police knew of no motive for the shooting.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: While investigating the theft of two bicycles from a pickup truck parked in the 200 block of Wise Ave. on Tuesday, Officer John Winters spotted a man "walking" two mountain bicycles down the street that fit the description of the stolen property. A man, 34, was charged with theft.
