Towson postpones game vs. Hartford

February 23, 2001|By FROM STAFF REPORTS

Towson University's men's basketball game against Hartford, originally scheduled for last night, will start at 1 p.m. today at Towson Center.

The school was forced to postpone the game when the Towson Center suffered a weather-related power outage that affected four other buildings on campus. Both Towson (10-15) and Hartford (4-21) also play tomorrow night.

The two coaches -- Towson's Mike Jaskulski and Hartford Larry Harrison -- agreed on today's game time to minimize any disadvantage against their respective opponents for tomorrow, Vermont and Delaware, who played last night.
