Baltimore City
Central District
Drug arrests: After arresting a woman who allegedly bought cocaine from a man Tuesday in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Ave., drug enforcement unit police returned to the scene and saw several people run into a nearby dwelling. Officers followed them to a first-floor apartment and arrested them. They recovered 328 vials of cocaine, $166 and .38-caliber bullets. Kathy Boone, 36, of the 500 block of W. Lafayette Ave. was charged with possession of cocaine. Kevin Barrett, 18, of the 1800 block of Ruxton Ave.; Derrell Johnson, 20, of the 800 block of W. Saratoga St.; Quevonte Penn, 18, of the 1000 block of Stoddard Court; and Edward Austin, 21, of the 400 block of Mosher St. were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy. Two male juveniles were charged with possession with intent to distribute the drugs and conspiracy.
Drug arrests: After drug enforcement unit police bought heroin from a woman Tuesday in the 1400 block of Druid Hill Ave., officers arrested the woman and a male juvenile who gave her the drugs. Veneea Lyles, 32, of the 800 block of N. Fremont Ave. and a male, 17, from the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Ave. were charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and conspiracy. Police recovered $285 and 16 gelatin capsules of heroin.
Southeastern District
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, forced their way into an apartment in the 300 block of Ballou Court about 1 a.m. Tuesday, pistol-whipped the male occupant and robbed him of $85.
Northern District
Arrest: A man, 40, was arrested Tuesday when he tried to leave the Safeway store in the 2400 block of N. Charles St. without paying for toilet articles, orange juice and tuna fish.
Baltimore County
White Marsh Precinct
Robbery: A woman was placing items in her Toyota Camry in the 6000 block of Radecke Ave. about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday when she was assaulted by a gunman who drove off in the car with tags JAY 077.
Wilkens Precinct
Burglary: Onion rings, hot wings, soft drinks and cheese, all valued at $137, were stolen Tuesday from Vizzini's Pizza in the 900 block of Leeds Ave.
