Members of Gilchrest's staff to visit with Odenton residents at library

February 06, 2001

The office of Rep. Wayne T. Gilchrest, a 1st District Republican, has announced an outreach program for constituents in Odenton.

Although most of the Maryland district lies on the Eastern Shore, it includes portions of Anne Arundel County. About 5,000 constituents live in the Odenton area, the office said.

Members of the Gilchrest staff plan to make monthly visits to the county's branch library at 1270 Odenton Road to hear concerns of residents and answer questions they may have relating to federal agencies such as the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue Service and the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

His aides will be available at the Odenton library from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month, beginning this week.

Information: 410-263-6321, or visit Gilchrest's Web site at www. house.gov/gilchrest.
