Passenger complaints lead to BWI emergency landing
A British Airways plane made an emergency landing at Baltimore-Washington International Airport last night after passengers complained of a nauseating odor in the cabin.
The plane, en route from Houston to New York City, requested permission to land at BWI about 8 p.m. The plane landed safely, and the 175 passengers and crew disembarked safely, according to John White, an airport spokesman.
Emergency medical crews were summoned to the airport, but White said he had no information on the passengers' condition or the source of the odor.
