Tommy Conlon

Harford Tech, wrestling

The 125-pound junior won four matches last weekend at the Edgewood Tournament, including an 8-6 overtime decision over David Hanks of Rising Sun for the championship. It was Conlon's 15th straight victory, and avenged a 7-5 loss to Hanks in the first match of the season. Two weeks ago, Conlon (19-2) also won the 125-pound title at the Bohemia Manor tournament. Last year, Conlon competed at 119 pounds and earned Harford County and regional titles. He finished sixth in the state. Conlon has 75 career victories.

Colby Lee

IND, basketball

Lee, a 5-foot-10 sophomore forward, was the catalyst behind three straight wins last week that propelled the Institute of Notre Dame into The Sun's Top 20 for the first time this season. The 19th-ranked Indians opened with a 45-42 win over St. Mary's as Lee had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Lee followed that with a career-high 22 points (8 of 10 free throws) and eight rebounds in a 52-45 win over Roland Park, a team that four days earlier had beaten the Indians by eight points. Lee finished the week with 15 points and 12 rebounds in a 52-32 win over Notre Dame Prep.
