Brewers: Agreed to $2.2 million, two-year contract with C Henry Blanco, who had filed for salary arbitration; he had asked for $1.1 million and team had offered $705,000.

Indians: Agreed to one-year contracts with P Zach Day, P David Riske, P Martin Vargas, P Jake Westbrook and OF David Roberts.

Marlins: Signed 3B David Bell, who had filed for salary arbitration, to one-year contract; he was seeking $2.65 million from team, which offered $1.85 million.

Padres: C Rick Wilkins agreed to minor-league contract with invitation to spring training.


NBA: Suspended Magic F Bo Outlaw for one game and fined him $10,000 for intentionally making physical contact with game official during game against Heat on Jan. 27. Fined Bucks coach George Karl $5,000 for publicly criticizing game officials to assembled media after game against Pistons on Saturday.

Heat: Activated F Don MacLean. Placed C Todd Fuller on injured list with tendinitis in left knee.

Pacers: Placed C Sam Perkins on injured list with sprained neck. Activated C Bruno Sundov.
