Zoo Zone

January 31, 2001

The aardwolf is a nocturnal (nighttime) animal with an excellent sense of smell and hearing. Hunting at night, the aardwolf listens for termites walking across the ground and then uses its long, sticky tongue to eat them. An aardwolf will often memorize the location of termite mounds for easier hunting.

What's for dinner?
