Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Drug arrest: Detective Todd Ring of the district drug enforcement unit was in the 200 block of Collins Ave. about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when he saw a man in a car who he suspected was selling drugs to a woman outside the vehicle. Ring arrested the man and seized 22 plastic bags of marijuana with a street value of $250, the man's 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage and nearly $1,000. Kevin Scott, 27, of the 2000 block of Royal Garden Drive in Woodlawn, Baltimore County, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Central District

Drug arrest: District drug enforcement unit officers saw a man they suspected was selling drugs Tuesday in the 500 block of W. Lafayette Ave. and arrested him and seized 25 vials of cocaine and $25. Kim McKinley, 33, of the 2600 block of Mount Royal Ave. was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and simple possession of cocaine.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man, 34, was in the 3400 block of Dolfield Ave. about 9 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman stepped out from behind a tree and robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money and a leather coat. The gunman drove off in a white Honda Accord.

Theft from vehicle: Compact discs and a wallet containing an undisclosed sum of money were stolen Tuesday from a Ford Escape sport utility vehicle parked in the 3600 block of Plateau Ave.

Southeastern District

Shooting: A boy, 15, got into an argument with several youths about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of Orleans St. and was shot in the head with a small-caliber handgun. Detective Gordon Carew said the victim was in stable condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Eastern District

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 1000 block of Billie Holiday Court on Tuesday and stole a stereo system, microwave oven, stereo compact disc player, clothing and other property, all valued at nearly $1,500.

Burglary: A .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun with serial No. 1294095 - valued at nearly $300 - a leather jacket and video game equipment, all valued at more than $1,400, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1800 block of Ashland Ave.

Shooting: School police responding to gunshots fired in the 1800 block of Bethel St. about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday found a man, 38, lying on the ground and bleeding from bullet wounds - one in the chest and two in the back. The man was in serious condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Shooting: A man shot another man in both legs and the right hand about 10 a.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Ensor St. and drove off in a black Lexus. The victim, 26, was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: A 1990 Plymouth Acclaim was parked in the 700 block of Gorsuch Ave. on Tuesday morning when someone stole the battery and the vehicle's tags, HAJ 997.

Western District

Burglary: A coffee maker and a book bag, all valued at more than $150, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1900 block of W. Baltimore St.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Theft: Between Jan. 1 and Tuesday, someone broke into several coin-operated laundry machines at Town & Country Apartments in the 7100 block of Rolling Bend Road, the first block of Fallridge Court and the 1600 block of Bluffdale Road and stole quarters from the coin boxes.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A man robbed the Beltway Mobil in the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road of more than $500 about 9 p.m. Monday. After placing candy on the counter as if to pay for it, the man sprayed the clerk with a chemical irritant and stole the cash register drawer and the candy.
