The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Stevens Forest Road: 5600 block, Oakland Mills. Someone pried open the door to an apartment Jan. 16 and stole electronics, jewelry and other items.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway: 10300 block, Town Center. Two females were walking to their cars Jan. 13 on the Copeland's Restaurant parking lot when they were approached by two men who displayed a gun and demanded money. The women resisted and fled.

Elkridge

Old Waterloo Road: 6800 block. Someone broke into an apartment by prying open a window Jan. 17 and stole electronics, jewelry and other property.

Old Waterloo Road: 6700 block. Someone entered a home through an unlocked door Jan. 16 and stole electronics.

Stratford Court: 6200 block. Someone entered a home through an unsecured door Jan. 16 and stole jewelry, silverware and compact discs.

Stratford Court: 6200 block. Someone broke into a home Jan. 16 and stole jewelry.

Savage/Jessup

Howard Hills Drive: 8800 block, Savage. Someone threw a rock through a glass door of a home Jan. 18 and stole jewelry and currency.

Birchwood Way: 8800 block, Jessup. A home was entered through an unsecured front door Jan. 14 and ransacked.

Western Howard

Old Rover Road: 13700 block, West Friendship. Someone was seen urinating on a lawn Jan. 17.
