Review: These Mexican Style meals are among Uncle Ben's newest offerings. Style seems to be the keyword here. This is stick-to-your-ribs fare that's a bit Americanized - like Mexican food made by my Polish grandmother. The Southwest Style Chicken was a melange of white rice, blackened chicken strips and vegetables in a slightly spicy pepper sauce. The Beef Fajita bowl offered beef strips in a fajita-type sauce with tomatoes, onions and corn, all atop seasoned rice. Satisfying, but you're not likely to find these served south of the border.
