Laurel teacher wins $150,000 in Md. Lottery

Tonya Killam, 30, of Laurel, an elementary school teacher of the deaf at Kendall Demonstration School, Gallaudet University, is the latest Maryland Lottery winner of $150,000 in the Big Game.

She plans to use the prize money to help buy a home and take care of her family.

The winning tickets, which matched all five Jan. 16 numbers correctly, was bought at the Giant Foods store in Laurel.
