Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Drug arrests: Drug enforcement officers posed as drug dealers Friday in the 600 and 700 blocks of N. Carey St. and arrested 22 people who tried to buy marijuana. One suspect also was charged with illegal possession of a semiautomatic handgun. Officers seized 11 vehicles, $152, heroin and marijuana. The arrests followed an increase in drug-related violence.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man, 37, was about to drive away in the 2900 block of Garrison Blvd. about 4 p.m. Sunday when a woman grabbed his car keys and tossed them to one of several men who were nearby. The victim complained and the man with the keys drew a handgun, robbed him of $100 and drove off in the victim's 1994 Dodge Intrepid with tags FBX 452.

Central District

Drug arrests: After observing a teen-age male exit a house in the 1300 block of Druid Hill Ave. about 8 p.m. Friday and allegedly sell drugs to a woman outside, police arrested the pair and seized 38 vials of cocaine and nearly $50. Donnell King, 15, of the 500 block of W. Lafayette Ave. was charged as an adult with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and related drug offenses. Angela Clark, 41, of the 400 block of Oxford Court was charged with possession of cocaine.

Drug arrest: A man, 20, was arrested Thursday night and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute after he allegedly sold $5 worth of the drug to an undercover drug enforcement unit officer in the 2200 block of Callow Ave. Officers seized 88 vials of crack cocaine, $66 and the $5 used by the undercover officer. Cornell Washington of the 700 block of Lennox St. was processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Eastern District

Burglary: A parakeet, its cage, a purse, cash, and a videocassette recorder, all valued at more than $500, were stolen from a house in the 2200 block of Orleans St. over the weekend.

Burglary: A furnace, nine kitchen cabinets and stereo speakers, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen over the weekend from a house being renovated in the 300 block of E. 22nd St.

Northern District

Theft: Several pieces of gold jewelry, bed linen, blankets and a Madame Alexander doll, all valued at nearly $3,700, were stolen from a house in the 3600 block of Edgegreen Ave. over the weekend.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Carjacking try: A male motorist, 29, was stopped at Belair Road and Slater Avenue about 1:20 p.m. Sunday when another man opened the door of the victim's 1987 GMC pickup truck and ordered him out. When the driver resisted, the man pulled a knife, stabbed him in the chest and ran.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Several pieces of jewelry, cash, a watch, two videocassette recorders and a laptop computer were stolen from a house in the 1800 block of Autumn Frost Lane over the weekend.
