`Winnie the Pooh'
Grab your red raincoat. Winnie the Pooh's in town. Pooh will be joined by his pals Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet on stage at F. Scott Black's Towson Dinner Theatre Saturday and on into May. The production of "Winnie the Pooh" encompasses several of the A.A. Milne tales and is performed by the F. Scott Black's Young People's Players. Songs such as "The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers" and "Rumbly in My Tummy" will be performed by the cast. Players include Kasey Glorioso, of Hydes, as Pooh, Matt Schleigh, of Hereford, as Tigger, James Gilbert, of Essex, as Eeyore and Jamie Shifrin, of Baltimore, as Piglet.
"Winnie the Pooh" runs Saturday through May 6 at F. Scott Black's Dinner Theatre, 100 E. Chesapeake Ave., Towson. Most shows are Saturday matinees at noon, with lunch at 11 a.m. Some Sunday shows at 11:30 a.m., with lunch at 10:30 a.m. $11 admission includes show, lunch and ice cream. Handicapped accessible. Horse World Expo
You don't have to be a member of the 4-H Club to appreciate the Horse World Expo this weekend at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. With a festival of horses, horse merchandise, products and services for sale, educational seminars and more, there will be something for everyone. Visitors can watch mounted demonstrations, a parade of breeds and the "Stallion Avenue" presentation, which features the region's top stallions. More than 400 vendors will display and sell their wares, as seminars by nationally known trainers, authors, speakers and experts run continuously.
