Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft: Two men were being sought in the theft Tuesday of 800 feet of copper piping and 60 feet of aluminum fencing, all valued at $5,000, from a warehouse being renovated in the 1000 block of S. Monroe St. Two men were seen driving from the warehouse in a dark blue no year Ford F-250 pickup truck with partial tags 89J and a dented tailgate.

Burglary: A male suspect was being sought in the burglary Monday night of a house in the 1900 block of Christian St. Power tools, credit cards, jewelry, currency and coins, all of unknown value, were stolen. Arriving home, the resident saw the burglar, whom he recognized, leaving the dwelling. A warrant was issued charging the suspect, 27, with burglary.

Western District Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at $50 was stolen over the weekend from a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina parked in the 1800 block of Arunah Ave. Stolen vehicle: A blue four-door 1990 Dodge no model with tags HPP 994 was stolen Sunday in the 1100 block of Wheeler Ave.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man, 28, was in stable condition yesterday at Sinai Hospital after he was shot in the left arm and abdomen about 11 a.m. Monday in the 5300 block of Cuthbert Ave. The assailant sped off in a green car of unknown make and model.

Robbery: A man, 29, was in the 3100 block of Virginia Ave. about 10 p.m. Monday when he was approached by a gunman who demanded his money. The victim ran and soon stopped, after the gunman fired three or four warning shots. The man was robbed of his overcoat, which was of unknown value.

Northern District Stolen vehicle: A blue four-door 1993 Dodge no model with tags RXW 857 was stolen Monday in the 3200 block of Chestnut Ave. Stolen vehicle: A four-door burgundy 1990 Chrysler no model with handicap tags 72387 HD was stolen Monday in the 2500 block of Shirley Ave. Stolen vehicle: A 1996 Buick no model with tags HPC 714 was stolen Monday in the 800 block of W. 40th St.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: Four men, one with a handgun, forced their way into an apartment in the first block of Sesame Court at the Carraway Apartments about 3:45 a.m. Monday and tied the hands of a man, 23, and a woman, 19, with duct tape and robbed them of about $2,000. The man was pistol-whipped.

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $1,300 was stolen Monday from an apartment in the 3900 block of Noyes Circle.

Burglary: Several pieces of expensive jewelry were stolen Monday from a house in the 13900 block of Woodens Lane in Reisterstown.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A man and his ex-girlfriend were arguing in the 2500 block of Elesmere Drive about 11 p.m. Monday when he struck her and took the engagement ring he had given her. A warrant was issued for the man's arrest on charges of assault and robbery.

Burglary: Jewelry, tools, a videocassette recorder and a television were stolen from a house in the 3300 block of Aurora Lane between Friday and Monday.

North Point Precinct Burglary: A 27-inch screen television and a comforter, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen Monday from a house in the 3100 block of Four Seasons Court. The male burglar drove off in a no year Ford Tempo.

Burglary: Jewelry valued at $300 was stolen Monday from a house in the first block of Shipping Place.

Essex Precinct Burglary: A lawn mower and a wheelbarrow, all valued at $320, were stolen Monday from a shed at A & H Controls in the first block of Pelczar Ave.
