Jermaine Hall scored 15 points in the second half as Wagner rolled past visiting Mount St. Mary's, 74-50, last night in a Northeast Conference game.

Jeff Klauder scored 13 points for the Seahawks (9-6, 5-3), who built a 29-23 halftime lead. Courtney Pritchard added 11 points and Chris Jackson finished with six points and 13 rebounds.

Aaron Herbert led Mount St. Mary's with 12 points. Stephen Moore had 10.

Mount St. Mary's (4-12, 4-3) charged to a 10-2 lead, but managed one field goal in the final 12:58 of the first half.

UMES 78, Florida A&M 60: Thomas Trotter scored 19 points and sparked a second-half rally as the Hawks (5-7, 3-1) beat the host Rattlers (4-11, 2-5) in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

UMES led by two points at halftime but broke open the game with a 22-6 run in the middle of the second half. Trotter scored 11 during the run, including three three-pointers.

Andre Newson scored 18 for UMES, and Joshua Hickman added 14.

The Hawks' defense held Florida A&M to 27.8 percent from the field in the second half and 34.4 percent in the game. UMES also out-rebounded the Rattlers by a 48-33 margin.

After Florida A&M led for much of the first half, UMES took a 32-30 halftime lead when Kevin Darby hit a jump shot as time expired. The Hawks dominated the second half.


Morgan State 80, South Carolina State 72: Shakira Smith scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, helping the Bears (5-8, 5-2) over the Bulldogs (9-4, 5-1) in a MEAC game at Hill Field House. Kimberly Harris added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

North Carolina A&T State 62, Coppin State 60: The Eagles (4-11, 2-5) struggled, shooting 28 percent, in losing a close MEAC game to the visiting Aggies (3-11, 1-5). Jackie Johnson-Stewart led all scorers with 21.

St. Peter's 64, Loyola 57: Erica Rath scored 15 as the Greyhounds (10-6, 4-3) fell to the Peahens (8-6, 3-3) in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game in Jersey City, N.J.

Florida A&M 64, UMES 46: The Hawks (2-11, 0-4) were led by Trishia Johnson's 12 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to the host Rattlerettes (8-7, 4-3) in the MEAC.

Yale 81, Navy 58: The Midshipmen (5-10) were led by Courtney Davidson's 12 points but couldn't catch the host Bulldogs (5-10).

Richard Stockton 70, St. Mary's 51: The Seahawks (2-11) cut a 21-point, first-half deficit to five with 9:58 to go in the game, but couldn't get past the visiting Ospreys (7-7) at home. Tenille McCatty finished with team highs of 15 points and nine rebounds.

Goldey-Beacom 60, Washington College 53: Karen Simos led the Shorewomen (4-8) with a game-high 22 points as they lost to the Lightning (4-11) at home.

Wesley 63, College of Notre Dame 47: Gabrielle Ferrell scored a team-high 12 points in a loss to the visiting Wolverines.
