A Catonsville man was in critical condition yesterday after he apparently lost control of the 1999 Toyota Corolla he was driving on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie late Saturday and struck a utility pole, Anne Arundel County police said.
The incident occurred about 10 p.m. on Crain Highway at Crain Court, police said.
The 24-year-old driver was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with head and chest injuries, police said.
The driver's name was not released.
