Anne Arundel County police are investigating a Friday night shooting in Severn that left one unidentified juvenile male dead.

Police officials reported yesterday that patrol officers found the victim and another boy- both suffering from gunshot wounds - about 11:15 p.m. near Jacobs Road and Still Meadows Drive. Two other boys were found with "blunt-force injuries," police said.

The shooting victims were taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where one victim was treated and released.

The other victim was pronounced dead yesterday about 8 a.m.

Of the two victims with blunt-force injuries, one was taken Friday to North Arundel Hospital, where he was treated and released. The other declined treatment, police said.

Police said the victims had been visiting a home in the 1800 block of Falcon Court in Severn. As they left the home, they were assaulted by several unknown males.

Police would not release the names or ages of the victims, "pending notifications and their safety."
