Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Drug arrest: Police armed with a search-and-seizure warrant Monday raided a house in the 100 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. and arrested a 20-year-old man and seized 65 capsules of suspected heroin valued at $650. Charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin was James Goodman of the 200 block of Henneman Ave.

Burglary: Construction equipment and tools, all valued at more than $1,100, were stolen Tuesday from an apartment under renovation in the 900 block of N. Chester St. by someone who entered through a skylight.

Northern District

Arrest: Police responding to a report of a man armed with a handgun in the 400 block of Ilchester Ave. on Tuesday arrested a man, 23, armed with a .380 semiautomatic handgun. The man's name was not available.

Northwestern District

Theft: Temporary Maryland auto registration tags with series numbers from 13527S to 13549S and 82947 to 82962 were stolen Tuesday from Auto Show Case in the 4500 block of W. Northern Parkway.

Burglary: Two videocassette recorders, a radio, coins, currency, jewelry and video game equipment, all valued at more than $500, were stolen from a house in the 3600 block of Spaulding Ave. on Tuesday by someone who entered through a rear basement door.

Western District

Arrests: Officers Joseph Bannerman and Steve Allen were in the 700 block of N. Fremont Ave. about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday when they saw two men fighting. During an interview, each man accused the other of robbery. On the ground near the two men, the officers recovered a .357 Magnum handgun and more than $2,000. The officers arrested the men and charged each with armed robbery and a handgun violation. Charged were Darryl Johnson, 33, of the 600 block of N. Schroeder St., and Clarence Walker, 23, of the first block of N. Gorman Ave.

Assault: Police were seeking a man who allowed his pit bull dog to attack a man in the 500 block of N. Fremont Ave. about 10 p.m. Tuesday. The victim, 37, was treated at Maryland General Hospital for several bites on his right hand and left arm and released.

Southwestern District

Theft/arrest: A motorist tried to pay nearly $19 for fuel at a Crown station in the 2800 block of W. Franklin St. about 5 p.m. Tuesday with a bad credit card and drove away when the credit machine rejected it. Police traced the vehicle and arrested the man, 35, charging him with larceny.

Southern District

Stolen car: A white and burgundy 4-door 1991 Dodge with temporary tags 27254B was stolen yesterday in the 900 block of S. Carey St.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: A cashier at Ames in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. was arrested Tuesday and charged with theft by ringing up reduced prices for items purchased by friends since December.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Clothing, silverware and household items, all valued at $1,200, were stolen from a storage locker in the basement of an apartment building in the 7900 block of Belridge Road between December and Jan. 8.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Church of the Holy Comforter in the 100 block of W. Seminary Ave. through a window overnight Monday and stole a kerosene heater and tools, all valued at $600.
