Stroup, a junior, shattered two county records and two school marks at the meet. He set county standards in the 800 (1 minute, 58.5 seconds) and in the 1,600 (4:21.6). His winning time of 1:07.1 in the 500 was a school record. He also anchored the Hawks' second-place 1,600 relay team that set a school mark with a time of 3:45.7.
