Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Shooting: Police were seeking a man who shot another man, 33, in the left knee in the 1300 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 6 p.m. Sunday. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Eastern District

Theft: Police were seeking Romaul Griffith of the 5000 block of Lodestone Way, who has been charged in a warrant with theft of a police officer's handcuffs Jan. 1. Griffith, 22, was being detained in the 1900 block of Aisquith St. for an unspecified incident when police heard gunshots. While officers were distracted, Griffith allegedly removed at least one section of the cuffs and fled.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Rape/arrest: Responding to a report of a woman yelling for help in a house in the first block of Seversky Court about 4:20 a.m. Sunday, officers entered and arrested a man who was attacking the woman. Charged with rape and held without bail at the county Detention Center was a 24-year-old man from the 100 block of Stemmers Run Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery/arrest: A man and woman were seated in a car outside Michael's Restaurant in the 2100 block of York Road about 2 a.m. Sunday when another man armed with a knife robbed them of money. Witnesses told police the man was seen entering a cab moments later at a nearby Exxon station. After contacting the cab company and learning where the taxi took the passenger, police went to the Holiday Inn on Greenspring Drive and detained a man. Charged with armed robbery and held on $50,000 bond at the Detention Center was Robert Trekalo, 38, of Ontario, Canada.

Towson Precinct

Robbery/rape: Three men forced a male resident of the first block of Solar Circle outside his home about 2 a.m. Sunday and robbed him of cash and keys before driving off in a silver-colored Acura. A woman who had been in the car during the robbery told police the men raped her after they picked her up in the 2000 block of Jubilee Court.
